About Us

Full Moon Farm lies in the heart of Quiet Corner of Connecticut in the charming town of Hampton. The rolling open fields, active livestock, and densely forested areas of the farm contribute to the working landscape of this special region. We are committed to preserving the land that we have the privilege of maintaining, and keep this at the heart of everything we do.

Full Moon Farm was started in 1989 by Rob Miller and Ann Withey. At the time, the farm was primarily focused on vegetable production and served local farmer’s markets, co-ops, and restaurants. In 2010 the farm transitioned into providing solely for its immediate community by opening a farmstand.

After a brief hiatus, Rob, Ann, and daughters, Molly and Phoebe, reopened their doors in 2020, again operating as a farmstand.

The farm consists of 6 acres of vegetable production, 20 acres of pasture for animals, and 40 acres of hay.

While the farm’s production is still centered around high quality vegetables, the addition of grass-fed beef, pastured pork, free range eggs, sourdough bread, flower bouquets, and baked goods to our retail has made the farmstand a convenient alternative to traditional grocery.
